A warm and hearty welcome to all the viewers of the website of Nelson International Education Centre (NIEC) and I am pleased that you have taken the time to visit our school website. Our hope is that this website will provide you with the most up-to-date and important first-hand information to enable you to keep informed. 

Nurturing the individual child is like an art of creating an earthenware or porcelain vessel. Teachers are like potters who want to create priceless, durable vessels that can withstand the test of time. Each step and method in the overall pottery process is like methodology and approach that we apply in the classroom. Extra care and conscious effort have to be taken to mould from the early greenware stage until we can get the quality finished piece of pottery. A student's success in life is largely dependent on the quality of education they receive since the early stages of life. The role of the pottery tools and equipment is as important as the facilities and infrastructure provided to obtain quality outputs. 

Our students’ achievements cannot be underestimated as they make us keep investing our concerted effort to discover, develop and bring out the hidden talents which were lying unnoticed inside all our students. Our team of dedicated and committed teachers works collaboratively to ensure that students of NIEC receive a rigorous, enquiry-based approach that will empower our students to become innovative thinkers, creative and professional learners prepared to thrive in the twenty-first century. 

A fundamental aim of NIEC is to prepare our students for their role in an increasingly interconnected and rapidly changing world in an environment which is friendly, supportive, stress-free and secure. In terms of teaching approaches, teachers do not use teacher-centred approach but use the approach to help our students develop a set of abilities which are necessary for them to succeed in the 21st century information age: critical thinking, creative thinking, collaborating and communicating.  We offer an extraordinary academic and extracurricular program with high standards and we support each of our students as they work to reach the goals they have set themselves. Our goal is to be a private school with quality education and to nurture our students to achieve their full potential through our well-rounded approach to education. We also aim to provide our diverse students with exceptional education, instilling in them positive attitude towards learning, the ability to think independently, and the confidence to pursue their dreams and goals. As we look forward to the future, we have believed that education in NIEC is educating the whole child.
