It communicates a student’s performance against set grades. The Progress reports are sent to parents once the grades have been entered. Subject teachers are responsible for generating individual comments if a particular student needs parental support or extra effort to catch up the lessons. It is helpful for parents to understand their children better and see where they might need their help. Parents should be able to follow up on areas highlighted on the report.
